I began sewing in 2017 with the intent of impressing a lady with newly acquired skills with needle, thread, and cotton fabric. The first project project, consulting YouTube as the project progressed, was a sofa pillow cover hand stitched with a backstitch. The project was successful, and I still have the pillow case, however, the gift was not received.
The Project that began it all!

Soon after the pillow cover, I purchased a modest electronic sewing machine, and I was off to the races. The different items I have sewn are listed in a lower paragraph. In 2025, I gifted 142 sewn items. Mostly non-clothing items: reversible bowl cozies, cotton napkins, quilted placemats, totes, a bib, and coasters.
To answer the queries from people that I sew, I tell them, “When I stay busy, I create fewer problems/troubles for myself.” “I sew to stay busy.”
I enjoy sharing the how to sew of my projects, and the projects are in a sub-menu of the main menu. The projects are listed in a sub-menu above.
